When Callibaetis and sedge hatches bring fish to the surface, the lake can produce exceptional dry-fly fishing.

Yellowstone Fishing Permits
A Yellowstone National Park fishing permit is required for all anglers 16 and older. Approach Angling Company holds the required National Park Service Commercial Use Authorization for guided trips on Yellowstone Lake.
